  • What are Semadeni’s regular business hours?

    Our regular business hours are:

    • Monday through Thursday 7:30 am - 12:00 pm / 1:00 - 5:00 pm
    • Fridays and days before holidays 7:30 am - 12:00 pm / 1:00 - 4:00 pm

    If you wish to pick up an order, please call 031 930 18 18 to arrange a pickup time in advance.

  • Are full or partial deliveries possible?

    Yes. You can select at checkout whether you’d like a partial delivery or not. The option is selected by default.

  • I can’t find the right product. What now?

    No problem. You can describe what you’re looking for and submit pictures/sketches at www.semadeni.com/productnotfound

    Thanks to our global network of partners and in-house production, we are able to supply extremely specific items.

  • My product is no longer available. What now?

    It is certainly possible that items may no longer be available. We ask that you contact us if this is the case. We have alternatives to many products in stock. Our customer service will recommend an appropriate replacement for you – contact us at sales(at)semadeni.com, www.semadeni.com/chat or tel. +41 31 930 18 18.

  • Do I need to observe minimum quantities?

    This depends on the product. Please observe the information on the product’s page. The webshop will inform you if you have not met the minimum quantity.

  • Can I order special colors/special forms?

    Yes. If you’d like to place a special order, please contact us at info(at)semadeni.com.

  • Do I need to register to place an order?

    No. You can place orders as a guest even without a user account.

  • What advantages do I have as a registered customer?

    With a user account you benefit from various features:

    • Payment on account
    • Order history
    • Display of various documents (e.g. order confirmations, delivery bills, invoice copies)
    • Package tracking
    • Creation of multiple watch lists
  • I placed an order. Why haven’t I received an order confirmation?

    You will receive your order confirmation as soon as we have processed the order, typically within one business day.

    You can also find the order confirmation in your customer account under 'My orders'.

  • Where can I find my orders?

    A summary of the orders you've placed in the new webshop can be found under “My Orders” in your customer account. Among them, you can also view various documents, such as order confirmations, delivery bills and invoice copies.

  • How long will it be until my order arrives?

    Orders placed on business days before 12:00 pm will generally be shipped on the same day.

  • Shipping costs

    The following shipping costs apply to Switzerland:

    • Net value of goods CHF 500 or more = free
    • Net value of goods below CHF 500 = 14.90
    • If the net value of goods is below CHF 50, a small order surcharge of CHF 10 will be charged as well.

    The following shipping costs apply for shipments to Germany and Austria:

    For small orders with a net value of goods below EUR 750, we charge the following handling fees:

    • EUR 20 for value of goods up to EUR 40
    • EUR 10 for value of goods between EUR 40 and EUR 150
    • EUR 20 for value of goods between EUR 150 and EUR 500
    • EUR 25 for value of goods between EUR 500 and EUR 750

    For shipments to other countries in the EU (excluding Germany and Austria), there is a minimum order total of EUR 350; orders below this amount will not be accepted.

  • How long does delivery take?

    Orders placed on business days before 12:00 pm will generally be shipped on the same day.

  • What types of shipping does Semadeni offer?

    All orders are generally shipped by mail or forwarder (depending on the volume).

    We offer customers in Switzerland the option of picking up their orders from us in Ostermundigen on the next day.

  • Can I track my shipment?

    Yes. You can find the tracking information in your webshop customer account under 'My Orders'. You can also call 031 930 18 18 to inquire about where your order is at any time.

  • Can I pick up my items?

    Yes. We offer customers in Switzerland the option of picking up their orders from us in Ostermundigen on the next day if arranged by phone. You can also select this option in the webshop under shipping method.

  • I am not satisfied with my order. How should I proceed?

    Please contact our customer service by phone or by e-mail (+41 31 930 18 18, info(at)semadeni.com) beforehand if...

    • too many items or the wrong items were ordered (in this case we will charge a restocking fee of CHF 30/EUR 20)
    • the wrong items were delivered or
    • the items delivered are defective.

    The items must be free of defects in each case.

  • Can I return my items?

    Please contact our customer service beforehand at +41 31 930 18 18 or info(at)semadeni.com if you wish to make a return.

  • Who is responsible for return shipping costs?

    If the customer orders too many items or the wrong items, they will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.

    If the wrong items or defective items were delivered, we will of course cover the cost of transport.

  • How long will it be until I receive my credit?

    You will generally receive your credit within 14 days from when we receive the items.

  • What methods of payment can be used in the Semadeni webshop?

    These payment methods are generally available:

    You can change your addresses under “My user info” in your customer account. The login e-mail address cannot be changed or transferred.
